Moved from a shack to a barn

0 posted 2003-06-30 12:19 PM

Outside
the wind moves
           Somewhere inside
           I am moved
           to move

fast
a cold blur
           Plodding
           an ill-plotted course

I found respite
in this
blanket
           toward
           a dimly defined destination

now
it is all I know
           knowing
           that to stop
           is to die

I will never leave it's drowsy
song
           So helpless
           before the hounds
           that drive me on

I could move ---
but it is easier
to wrap this
dream around me
           the very idea of stopping
           is as absurd

and breathe shallow
           as refusing to breathe
of it's stale
           gray
           air

Ed and Brian:

Goodness at last . . .
the meeting of minds . . .
or souls may I say?

Displayed before me I see
one man seperated by a push and
pull of fate
I see two men incorporated into
one soul
I see questions, fears,
limitations and strength
which incorporate every one of us.

I see beauty . . .

Applauding here and smiling
at this beautiful present
left before my eyes

Bravo!!!

and I'm assuming you both surived the process, too?

inertia, indeed! ha. This is creationism. Aleph-Bayt. Active-Receptive. Blips on the screen. And it is universally applicable to any given situation.

I'll probably have more to say after m'coffee too. I love this, and it's about time--it's a treat to see my two favorite men together. *wicked winks*

back after coffee.

A poem with many shades of grey: my favorite color in fact. Beautiful, and somehow broken.

Ok, is that strange?

Thanks all

Another one born of a boring night at work.

An unfair advantage when it comes to a collaboration, eh?

And actually, this was painless

And Sunshine? happy that you're pleased. It was your idea, after all.

Hey guys...really enjoyed this pairing.  Your styles work well together.  Ed's unique phrasing and Brian's styling blend perfectly.  Do hope to read more from you two!
