To inkedgoddest who ask what was love on my other post..  this is what i belive it is?

Is it Love

When is it love, can it be when
the fragrance of you lingers
hours after we part, can it be
the lingering remembrances
of the sparkle in your eyes, or
is it the way my heart beats to
a softer rhythm after we have
spent quality time together,

Could it be that I long to smell
the scent of roses that reminds
me of you, or is it my impatience
longing to see you, and see again
the glow in your eyes, perhaps
it's how my heart races when I
see you in my eyes, and wanting
to spend a lifetime with you.

A voice of honesty
   is treasured
more than voices
   of flattery

a long way from the scent of roses to a lifetime tho.......

The poem was wonderful QjQ, then as I read the replies (which I always do)

I seen Dixie's respones to can it last?

Got me to thinking, I guess even when it's over, it doens't have to end in your heart or mind.

Love IS ...
When we love, we can't conceive that it might end ... but still it does end sometimes. This should never stop us from entering a relationship. Why should we deny ourselves love for fear of losing it?
