With my darkling

A puzzlebox of truth I found
with questions best left in the ground
and giving in, without a sound
before the answers, left me drowned

I sought an inner peace to grow
instead was brought to madness though
at the edge, I finally know
it's what I reap is what I sow

And pain I caused, is pain I get
and selfish me, I oft forget
that I remain my own worst threat
that truth is pain, and pain forgets

"I remain my own worst threat."
Yes sir, lots of time we want to ignore the fact that in many cases our foolishness got us into some situations we would love to get out of,  and ignoring the lessons we place ourselves right back into predicaments...James

Oh thank you for saying so Jason,
and putting your thoughts down in words.

It's one thing to speak our minds and get it off your chest,
and quite another when our actions come back to haunt us.

Forgive and forget I say, life is just too
darn short!  The sooner we realize and accept
that it takes all kinds to make a world, the better of we'll be.

An excellent, thought-provoking write with great flow.  I'm keeping this as a reminder.

Take care,

Such candor and simplicity, mingled with brutal honesty.  Well penned as usual, Darkling.

So true so true...

But the truth shall set you free ... at least I like to think so.

This is perfect in its form,
nice job Jason
As for the rest, well yes
I just questioned why right now
I have to pay a lump sum back in karmic debt when seems that everyone else has
installments . . .

I know and you shine here
in your truthfullness
