White Canvas

I see white canvas in my mind
So blank and white it makes me blind
And I prepare my brush and paint
In an anguish of constraint

How rash the stroke of imperfection
Upon the white of pure perfection
What madness do I seek to birth
Impose upon the sweet of earth.

What makes my goal the sift of sand
To rise above the place I stand
It only breaks it down to parts
To the beginnings and its starts

So why should I take brush in hand
And think I do a thing of grand
I’d soil the perfect of the clue
Where minds can place their inner view.

And paint themselves their strokes of thought
To bring they’re inner most to court
In truth it is a valid point
A blank of white for there anoint.

It is a statement pure in light
And I think I’ll sign it in white.

Because you do a "thing of grand" every time you gift us with your words, sweet Seymour. Thank you for them, too, my friend.

Sy
As long as you paint your canvas in words.
Don't ever leave a paper blank
This is lovely and original

Loved this much. Yes the white canvas IS perfection .... because it already holds your beauty, but your words bring it to the light, so that you can share it ..... for us to enjoy.
Love, Margherita

All I can feel is this distance between you and me.
I can say I love you but I can't make you believe me

Lovely. You are a painter of words. Filled with shades of the sun, capturing shades of mauve and deep purples of the sunset. Your canvas of white is filled with the brilliant colors of the rainbow.
Good job

Good morning, Mr. T.!

Blessed be the white canvass that has a stroke of thought from your illustrious brush upon its white, blank face!

Elizabeth,
A rose, is a rose, is a rose, as a canvas, is a canvas, is a canvas.

Chris,
Could you make that lunch instead of breakfast. LOL Hugs

Margherita
Thank you and love back.

Sunshine,
The ultimate reply, thank you sweet.

JM,
A little tongue in cheek, but your answers always make me weak.

Bonnie,
