Suppose then
That Angels are quarks
Of sorts
Sparks
That exist throughout

Time

Space

And that once
We
Were such creatures
A part of that heavenly host

Until
That is
We became desirous
Of weighty matters

Seduced
Into the sin of sensation
The urge to feel

Ecstasies

Agonies

And so
We were clothed
In the flesh that we wear

Condemned

Exiled

Onto this rocky outpost
Where we exist too briefly
To fully comprehend
The consequence of

Being

Graceless

Yes.  All true my friend, all too true.  Now that we are here though, we can't get back until we are all done.

This is a truly great piece of poetic art, truth skillfully delivered.  Thank you for sharing it.

Very well written, wranx. Certainly an interesting take on the creation of humanity.

Thanks to all for the nice comments.
This was born from a conversation with brian sites one night at work. (A 5 hour query on the "Original Sin")
So, my thanks to him, for helping a night at the grindstone pass painlessly and for titling this for me.

There's grace, and there's Grace, and there's what comes to a man when he reaches peace....which is better in some ways than either.
