Purple Gathering
By Larry Chadwick

I wandered off the trail,
Drawn by what, I did not know.
Perhaps it was the wonder,
Of all the things that grow.

It was that time of year,
When everything popped out.
I knew that beauty was around,
Of that there was no doubt.

I was basking in the fun,
When I saw a purple blur.
I had to check it out,
Of this I was quite sure.

I got down on my knees,
To see this special thing,
Gathered there in a cluster,
It was a purple gathering.

Purple Gathering

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Tima,
The smallest bouquet I've ever delivered! And thank you for such kind words.

Tim,
Thank you sir.

Roniece,
If you don't mind the size of the bouquet there are enough to go around! And thank you.

This is just too cute

It is said the Creator has taken a handful of South Wind and given each newborn Arabian the power of flight without wings

Susan,
Thank you dear girl. I haven't been frivilous in a very long time. I know I'm not a bunny so what am I...chopped liver?

Rhonda,
Thank you. For you sweetie...anything! Just name it.

Larry, I love those flowers. They are so pretty. I'm glad that you happened upon them and shared them with us.

In reference to your reply above...you may not be a bunny, but I'll bet you're a big teddybear.

Hugs
Ethel

Isn't it fun to see the lavenders and violets, blues and pinks of summer?  We're always sure our eye must have teased us with color until we investigate, and by gosh...there it is....

This is just SO pretty....

Susan,
I'll be a bunny if you will.

Martie,
It was at the preserve where our youngest son was married. What an incredible place.

Ethel,
Awww. Thanks I like that.

James,
I know what ya' mean. And thanks.

Dixie,
Weeeeeeeeell, cool. And thanks.

Karilea,
All because of a little sunshine. Hmmmm. Makes me think ya' know. And thanks.

Sue,
Well I've taken to writing prose. But I've been around some, just not as much. And thank you friend.
