standing on a shadow's lace

Harken

I have
cloaked myself
in iron
a heavy burden
to bear
yet you
allow me
to reveal
myself unashamed
in words
one soul
harkens
another stands
naked
bare

"i am out of estrogen and i have a gun"

I just love your writing stile. You're so original.

I said I'm going to buy a gun and start a war,
If you can tell me something worth fighting for

And you practice the deceptive arts too?
You just want us to THINK this is a small little poem.
I'm on to you . . .

The truth...exposed! Finally.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Your words gave me such a good feeling.  *shrug*
I think there is alot of truth in the saying, that we are our worst enemy.   Nice poem Helen, and thanks~
