When I laugh So do you When I cry You hold me and say it's OK When I reach out to touch you you never pull away When I strive for excellence You tell me you are proud of me When I make a mistake You gently suggest ways I may do better next time When I'm with you I'm never bored When you look at me I can see love in your eyes You stroke my hair often and tell me I'm adored As you touch me softly I feel a stirring inside and when we kiss you lightly brush my lips and I feel electricity When I say "I love you" you say you love me too! I feel I'm a big part of your life because you let me in Before I met you my life had a void feelings I never thought I'd have I love you today even more than yesterday but not nearly as much as I will tomorrow You've given me joy and love and removed my sorrow I have been truly blessed because my dearest love you're the best! Most of all I love you because..... You're you! |
