Now old Toe and Balladeer
Finally had it up to here,
They went stark ravin nuts
From swappin slurs

To the duos consternation
The judge said 'psych evaluation'
Gaveled down and locked em
In the stir

Whilst they was strollin at the stute
They got into a big dispute
Into the pool Toe pushed
Our Balladeer

Deer flailed his arms and made a scene
And then our Toe thought up a scheme
"I'll save you" he yelled out
and faked a tear

He pulled ol Deer out of the water
Did mouth to mouth, began to sputter
When the stute director came
To set things right

'Why Toerag, you're a hero man,
If the judge can't see that no one can
To see you free and clear
Is now my fight"

A petition was e-mailed to the judge
That said 'Your honor bear no grudge
Toerag shows no sign of
Instability.'

'Furthermore,' the doc went on
'I think this cannot be a con,
'I saw with my own eyes
'His great nobility.'

The judge then ordered Toe's release
But then they found our Deer deceased
The doctor came to give
Toerag the news;

'It's something bad I'm sad to say
'Your buddy Deer has passed away
'his belt while in the shower
'was self used'

Toe said, "Doc, now don't despair,
I'll tell you how he got up there,
I know for sure it wasn't
Suicide

'You see when I pulled him from the pool
'His clothes were wet, and he looked a fool
So I wrang him out and
Hung him up to dry!

it's gratifying to see that someone recognizes how Toerag abuses the 'deer! This is just another example....

When he hung me up, I was dead already...that happened when I had mouth to mouth with Toe (and saw his boner!)

Excellent reporting, rebellious one

(chuckling) you seem to know this story quite well.... Now I have to wonder if indeed you were not in some way involved...

Dear Hawk Rebel....this is a wonderfully written piece of FICTION. First of all, I would never perform CPR on Balladeer...(who the hell knows where that mouth has been?)...secondly, though I would hang him out to dry someplace, it would be here on the boards again. Nice write though.

love the rhythm of this piece, even if the story eludes me a little.

ROFL... Careful, rebellious one... singed feathers don't smell very nice. LOL

But you did bring them both out of hiding... and I sure enjoyed! *S*

I'm so glad I came by this morning and found this one! It's hysterical. I'm taking it home to Mom.
