Just when the past Had made itself a scar It resurfaced showing me Exactly who you are I whiped your tears away To be swept underneathe By their current of emotion That lay beneathe your feet What held this in Why couldn't you tell me You've been all I see Lately taking part of me Lost inside the chain links Of my sheltered mind Every pathway locked From all the insecurity That you burrowed deep inside The lonely parts of me Make the insides weep Show me to the gates That line themselves in reflection As hopes disintegrate Take my hand in yours And walk me to the end Cause we wont talk from here As my mind still mends Mending from your loss Entrapped inside your guilt I will find a way I will find my way out |
