I’ll Say It Anyway for Aenimal

thank you seems
so inadequate
to someone who
has become second skin
my covering
that catches salty sorrow
who knows my feelings
before I say them
and how I ache
in the knowledge
in his internal
intimate understanding
of how deep
this well of pain is
and how no edges
are just wet
but immersed
whose youth does not
harbor safe shelter
standing on searing sands
from the steam of it
and is
far too tender
for this world

What a special gift you give him.

I feel honored just to be part of the audience.  Thank you.

Helen, our Raphey is going to love this. He is so tenderhearted.

Thanks for sharing this gift to him with us.

Hugs to you both

hey wait a minute…
basket weaving is physical
and if it’s physical its therapy
and if it therapy it’s good
and I could use some GOOD physical therapy
(she says with an evil grin)
and no baskets allowed just basket cases
