What if my words
fell out of time
didn’t make sense
didn’t rhyme

what if my feelings
weren’t conveyed
what if my heart
wasn’t displayed

what if my sorrow
lacked memory’s ache
didn’t touch lonely
didn’t know heartbreak

what if my love
held no romance
no picked daisies
no kisses, in dance

what if my skies
didn’t offer soft rain
didn’t hold grey cloud
no drip drop refrain

what if my moon
didn’t round full
didn’t illuminate
had no inner pull

what if my ocean
refused to be blue
wasn’t deep
or a reminder, of you

what if my quill
could no longer flow it
would you still call me
some kind poet?

This reminds me of that 21 questions song where he ask his girl if she would still love him if he rode the bus...James

The answer is yes, SEA.  You would indeed find some beauty of which to write...because that is you.  I love your work...softness of flow, wonderful images.  I learn much from you.

Hugs to you,
Patricia

That was a rhetorical question, right? Because ya' know the answer. Maybe you just need to hear it more often. Yes sir that's my baby(poet)!. Love it I do.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Nope... wouldn't call you some kind poet at all....

might call you a poetess of life and love
or a poet of tender or a tender poet...
but I'd always call you friend and beautiful....

hugs my friend...

OH MAN!!!!!!!!!

IWISHIHADWROTETHIS!!!!!!!

YOU KNOW I am loving every poetically perfect word of this jewel of muse and pen.

what if my ocean
refused to be blue
wasn’t deep
or a reminder, of you

OH SIGH!!!
this one is mine..Im taking it.

All I can feel is this distance between you and me.
I can say I love you but I can't make you believe me
because touching is believing.
