My body aches, the time is near
the day is coming , another year
with company to help keep pace
if I can only make it... face
the loneliness that comes without
some one to share, my look in doubt
that even if and when they come
it won't console the feelings numb
that rise when wish of candles, blow
bring memories I use to know...

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
(Will Moss)

My friend, each new day shall bring
Opportunity to sing
A song of love sweet in tune
For love you meet very soon

OK, not the best verse (my verse)..but I was trying throw a little optimism your way.  He is out there, I feel it.  And lonliness will be a forgotten memory.

Well done!
Hugs to you
Prophetess Patricia (LOL)

There is a light which glows in the window of your soul...taking you by the hand and leading you to another day, saying to you...go, enjoy, live life to the fullest...without thoughts of loss, but more so gains from the losses, fully expressed smiling on your heart...memories are our life's dreams come true...preparing us for our future.

Thanks all, I am just thinking how little has changed in this year, as I become one year older.

I would love to be presently surprised Susan, but it won't happen.

It's better to never expect, I guess, then I will never be disappointed.

*I am a slow learner*

Thank you for the birthday wishes...tomorrow is the day.

You're not just one year older, you are one year wiser and one year stronger!

May tomorrow be a new beginning for you! Happy Birthday, Maureen!
