Crawling around naked
in someone else’s mind
can be risky
but enlightening,
rewarding,
passionately stimulating.
You should try it sometime.

But beware...
there could be land mines
and hidden agendas
as well as golden treasures
or sweetest honeydew
to wade through.
And when you are ready to depart?
Be prepared to leave behind
a part of your heart.

Crawling around naked
in someone else’s mind
can be risky.

Are you a Braveheart?

(chuckling).... ok..I enjoyed the poem and understand the meaning... I just couldn't get over the visual of someone crawling around naked in my head and finding all those broken things to cut their hands and knees on.......

nice write... and I did enjoy

YES!! I've often said that certain minds here would be a wonder to walk barefoot in...
so much to learn...
we can always roll naked in the poetry...
Im not afraid of paper cuts
COOL write poetess Kacy.

All I can feel is this distance between you and me.
I can say I love you but I can't make you believe me
because touching is believing.

The heart, has always been the bravest part.

As far as crawling naked in me pumpkin?

One could find it most disconcerting, I know that I certainly do! (It's all icky and squishy and you never know when a bunch of bric-a-brac is gonna fall on you, trapping you in the mired memories(?)of times gone wrong and leaving you there grasping at any old fragment of some broken dream in hopes of finding enough purchase to just get back to your knees, perhaps enabling you to get a glimpse of the exit...and....Uh, what was the question?)

Oh, yeah...Love this, Kacy

Martie, yes, the doorway can be scary, but we are adventurous, right?

Raph, LOL, I doubt that. But perhaps that visual image should be sent privately to my email?

Magnus, LOL, well, are you just going to tease, or will you describe those visuals?

(big hugggsssssssss) Kind of reminds me of Atticus Finch in "To Kill A Mockingbird", with the advice he offers "Sometimes you've got to crawl into another persons skin and walk around in it!". (sigh) I think only this method is going to help us understand each other better, but unfortunately many cowards only judge the book by its cover and read the gossip like the cover of a People magazine! (sad sigh) So to do this would be a noble task, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
