Dictation
Alone in a room,
jazz helps me find my flow.
A single candle flickers,
Iím inspired by the glow.

I close my eyes and relax,
reminiscing about the man I use to be
No thoughts, just inspiration,
dictation from the poet inside me.

I'm certainly pleased that you listen to the dictation from the poet within you!

Happy hugs,
EA
P.S. Sending you lots of candles to keep the inner poet dictating to you forever!

Wow, I loved this line.  I had to read it aloud a couple of times.  Papa Bear, you did well with your transcription.

Suthern, Thanks for the Luv

Patricia, Thank you... I wrote that line while watching a jazz band and later wrote the poem from it...

nakdthoughts, Thanks... I also do a lot of my writing with candels burning and jazz in the background...
