caverns of soundproofed glass
needle the lower frequencies
relay paper planes
on the junctions of
the cascade wind
the girls rearquarters
were as wide
as my left shoe is
long
I juggled her a message
with my eyes
she nestled her way
in next to me
my hand stumbled irreversibly
onto her lap
as her mother continued
interrogating the bus driver
reluctantly
within unforgettable moments
I removed my mitt
just in time
for mums return

it was all over
and eventually they got off
she shot me a glance
that sapped my strength
one which
I will have to forget
if I am to keep
my sanity in tow

virgins
and their admirers
are a dual class of citizenry
if you believe
what the latter day saints
have to say regarding the matter
I myself
don’t heed
those type of obligations
those which might
crease my mechanics
and fossilize
my actions
