Breath of God

Guided steel by hatred took the sky.
Out too brief the flames of worldly worth.
Darling buds of fall that fell too soon...
Breath of God, flesh of Mother Earth.
Life goes on and war now sets the tone.
Eye for eye and home to freely roam.
Save us from the storm of whom we hate.
See us past the smoke and ash at home.
All the world is watching praying peace.
Man will fall and man will rise to win.
Earth still has it's sun, it's living son
Raising for the hues of every skin
In the city; wall of prayers; shrine
Covered photos leave us to define
Actions of man by his own design.

A voice of honesty
