In the sounds so tender,
my tears live in the warmth
of my heart’s feelings,
floating notes of release,
harmony’s creative moisture.

In the pain of loneliness,
winds flowing in secluded breezes,
branches of words creating poetry,
dancing free as if a million butterflies,
where set free to wander their beauty.

Why must a poet crawl
into their emotions,
why is it that they cannot,
close that door,
inner feeling that tremble,
quaking in sighs of discontent.

Miracle of needed release,
let the ocean waves ride my mind,
let the sand float through my feet,
let the birds sing my lullaby,
let me cry once in total happiness,
let the music carry me into heaven.

Angels wings supporting me,
flight of independent exhilaration,
music of nature around me,
eagle within me fly the blue sky,
no more water bills to pay,
here nature provides everything free.

The delicate blessing of special angels,
feeling my unique heart’s beat,
never fearing my words of magic,
understanding them in their entirety,
they must flow free to find happiness.

Let me rock n roll
in roller coaster feelings,
creating the music
to be never ashamed
of my words and the water
in my tears right now.

Note: This was written after they turned off my water, for I just forgot to pay it. Even if the deposit is a lot more than the bill, they still cut it off here and charge you a good fee to reconnect. (A $29 two-month bill, a $50 deposit and a $25 reconnect fee.) I will not say where but they have banned most furniture on all your porches. I have a had a rough time in the last year, my business failed, my brother died, my interest rates have sky rocketed and yes now the water. But yet the greatest pain is in my mother’s health, which is failing. My release is in my poetry to find its wings, in time to finish my first book called “Writing Roller Coasters” for my special mother’s eyes. Will it succeed in my depression? Can we dream as Americas, who feel their emotions come alive in nature’s power and the special One above? May you find those words that set you free to fly in the miracle of who you are. I have to go pay the water bill, love and good health.
