Mancini I understand you now
I'm tired I'm tired too

I know I'm a miserable (censored)
and I'm not so naive as to think
there aren't those who have it
worse than I ever have or will

But this knowledge does little
to lessen this dull ache
that dares to call itself life
Am I justified in feeling this way?

Who knows for sure?
Who gauges what pain is worse?

Questions always questions
and I've finally reached a point
where I could care less
what the answers might be

Mancini I understand you now
I'm tired I'm tired too

I have no clue, who Mancini or kesey are, but i'm guessing something to do with music?

Despite my lack of understanding, i still understand? i'm tired too.

and yes. who guages which is worse? we get to a point, where we feel we shouldnt be suffering the way we are, because there are people so much worse of, but at the end of the day, we're all suffering our own slice of madness. and who can stop it, without a fight?

i'm a rambling mess. and you are a genius for making me brain go scrambled with your words.

Very interesting write.
Interesting info on the author of a great movie.

Why do you have Henry involved here? I guess I'm missing something.

I enjoyed the read all the same.

Ahhh hell!  I'll take you fishing if you promise to not eat the bait.  *smile*

It is deep pain, but a good poem.  Thank you, Sir, for sharing it.

fire and water
weary of
the misery
suffering
the sorrow
exhaustion’s withdrawal
tired of
living the lie
giving up
