I like this, Sue. You
said a lot in few words.

Michele:  gladly . . . me too
thank you

Rebel - thank you - so very sweet to me

Ethel:  thank you - this was difficult for me as I cannot say few in so little words.
I am not happy with it at all

It signifies that the sun only reflects off of my eyes - that they do not absorb

Thanks guys

beautiful poem of happiness, and on the lighter side, folks around here are turning into nocturnal beings...the sun has only been out 4 days in two months....dark, cloudy, rain rain rain...so thank you kindly for this sunshine in my pocket today.

The use of alliteration gives the senryu a lyrical quality.

When I look at your smiling eyes in your photo, I am pleased that you were not in the shade!

Warm hugs,
Linda

Well done . How 'bout sending some of that sun, heck I'd even take the shade, up this way. Torrential rains again ... 16 weekends in a row! grrr....

Soggy Hugs ...

Very fine write!
Blue eyes are more sensitive to
the sun than brown. Mine always
squint in bright sunlight. Shade
is a blessing, especially when
it's cast by one of those hugging,
huggable trees!

Blessings!
