Done put some rogaine on my tires, all four were nearly bald,
I got the bottomless Kansas summer blues, an idiot I have been called,
But it don't bother me a bit, 'cause the woman I am to marry,
Says she cares not a diddly-squat, if my wheels are hairy,
I met her in the parking lot, down at the Piggly-Wiggly,
I got the bottomless Kansas summer blues, she makes my eyes go squiggly,
She's a gem, a beauty rare, without her life would suck,
I'll keep her til the day I die, oh how I love that truck,
Now my girlfriend she is pretty too, but a four-wheel she is not,
I got the bottomless Kansas summer blues, but I like her too, a lot,
I checked my tires and they're still bald, I'm feeling kind of blue,
That's why I got the bottomless Kansas summer blues,
I hope that you don't too.

I have a special fondness for any poem that incorporates "Piggly Wiggly" in the text.

Thanks for the smiles Tim.

I've HEARD about those summertime blues.

People say it's pretty hot here in New Orleans--I wouldn't know though, I don't plan on going outside until September.

ROTFLMFO...you guys and your trucks....

Tell me, Tim, does your truck outrun the flying cottonwood?

Hey -- a man's truck is a sacred thing ladies --

I'll have to admit Tim -- I never thought of using Rogaine... is it cheaper than retreads?

Nice to read your poetry instead of duking it out in the alley for a change.

Hey...I'm with Serenity on the "Piggly-Wiggly" verse, I live in a one red-light town, and guess what the only grocery store is for forty miles....YEP...The Pig!

I loved this...very amusing, and light-hearted!

...The truck thing I understand, my husband would sleep in his if he could...(well, he could've plenty of nights...but I felt sorry for him...haha)
