A Spit of ire

My soul turns on a spit of ire
And rotates on a pit of fire
The odor overwhelms my day
It shades the sun to shadow gray.

Each rotate shrinks the core to brown
The dripping grease paint me a clown
And thought I simmer in times stew
I cannot bring the stew to view.

I splutter in the heat of try
Smoke and hiss each sound of sigh
Twist and turn apocalypse
And cannot stand one-upmanship

The agony makes muse and smile
And colors every source of wile
And though I Braille a morn of dew
I fail to do what I must do

I know what is the end to come
But who would beat this fetid drum?

from life's most difficult trials comes the best of poems...the deepest

You fail nothing my friend, and maybe just maybe your doing exactly what you are supposed to do...only you know...such is life in the moment...and the significance of you.

Captive creation....smiles and hugs

As I know we're going to be fixing ribs for supper tonight, I couldn't help but grin at some of the similarities...

Where's that dandy Randy, Sy?  Methinks you need some raspberry tea from a Moth...or three!

My goodness Stinky...I see Randy is writing again...did he have chipsandbeer? LOL
Something gave him heartburn and made him cranky.

But thru all his smoke and hell fire...
I still find the classic Sy line of humilty and hope...

And though I Braille a morn of dew

Thats me Stinky

Thank you for the sage and clever reply.

JM,
Well if I don't collect mornings dew, how are we going to make raspberry tea? Good morning Tink WWRS

This read puzzles me to-day Seymour. Did Randy's fire burn down and he woke up on the wrong side of the bed? lol. I must ponder this one a little longer. Oh! Look! It's lunchtime already! Put the kettle on again Enchantress please. With raspberry tarts I am here to tease. Yummy. Have a wonderful Sunday my dear poet friend. hugs, Chris

Your talent as a writer is something to admire, but it is the messages that you convey that mean so much.  Wonderful, wonderful!
