Contrary to the mindset of
your magnificent ego,
I am not a fish
waiting to jump
onto your shiny hook.
You seem to think I like
the way you look at me
over those designer rims
that cost more than
my monthly rent.
But in reality?
I favor that man
at the health food store
who carefully examines
each piece of fruit
for quality,
never fusses about the price
of the goods he selects,
and bags them himself
with great dexterity,
style and care,
never letting on
he noticed my stare
of smile.
Oh, but I do believe
he is well aware,
and is waiting patiently
for the perfect moment
to acknowledge my presence.
As for your hook?
I'm not biting your bait.

Hey...youre getting to be a regular smart mouth bass

*whew* that joke stinks like 3 day old fish..

*wakka wakka*  heh

Hey Kacy... I know this guy...
as a matter of fact..I gotta pic of him...

hehehe

Cool poem of definace girlie...
youre nobodys large MOTH bass
you threw him back like a hammer head halibut
hes sunk like a fin flapping flounder
nothing but a tin head tuna...

Ok...someone hang the sign so I'll shut up ...

NO FISHING JOKES ALLOWED!!!

( sorry..the moth had too much sun today) LOL

No matter what the differences
No matter what the cost
When words become our weapons ...
All that's beautiful is lost.

Interesting -- why make him wait for the right moment?

Kacy:

I always wonder exactly what
goes through their heads when
they think that even for one minute
they have a chance . . .

Actually it is quite funny
I laugh at them
as for the others
ahhh . . . if they only knew
loved this write

SUE, I've stopped trying to read minds and just watch what they buy. You'd be surprised how fast you can eliminate the chaff from the golden wheat.
Actually, this technique is even better when shopping at the Tattered Cover bookstore.

Now, now, no need for biting, just take yer lips and...OH.

and laughing at Dunc. I started out with fruit, but married a vegetable. *wince*

(Oh I know, the venom....)

*ahem*

But Kacy, you sure know how to say things nicely. Happy Solstice and blessed be.

ROTFL at some of your replies
What a great group we have here...you're all creme de la creme, gourmet quality.
Just stay conscious in the store.
