where the wild flowers grow

My hands
intertwine to wipe
sleep from my eyes.
Those dreams I had last night,
I push them away and
forget them all with time.

I seem to missplace
the consequence..
My throat burns with fire
and the need to kiss icey lips
that twinge with the memory
of dreams long spent.
Echo
(echo in my mind)
Crossfire winds collide
with my sense of well being.

My presence is no longer
tangible or
the tips of my fingers have become
casualties of my writing..
Have I nothing left to say?

so careless
i was to think
these
WORDS DO NOT BREATHE..
but obviously they emphasize
heavily
on keeping the reader
intrigued..

I think as long as we breath, and view life, we will have something inspire us to write, regardless of those intervals which come along....words sigh from the inner soul, eventually...needing a vacation once in a while...but sooner or later, we awaken with the muse once again, smile and hugs, great write.
