these eyes have seen a thousand sights
have fought on the sidelines
on a thousand battles

have rejected the mainstream
and lived too see
the pain and suffering

these eyes have seen too many a night
wasted all alone
wishing for him

wanting the affection
that others have
and yet can never find

these eyes have seen a world too big
full of disasters and hoaxes
clouding peoples mind

forcing their opinions
to live a life in doubt
with clashing emotions

these eyes have seen far too much
for a worthless life
thats only 13 years old

the rainbow valley in the sky
that is my imagination
and yet im gone

being a teenager is hard

mine is 15 so I understand a little of what you are feeling

chin up! you'll get older and be able to live your own life and make it what you want...and you will make it happy!

until then, write sad. It's good therapy...get it all out of your system. I'm 33 and still write sad, most of the time.

I feel lots of emtiness and sadness when I look at my disappointments and failures but when I focus on my achievements and the good things that are happening life can be beautiful at times...it works both ways...we can look at what we don't have or we can look at what we have...james

Yes . . . much too young for such battles
as I do know them myself . . .
nice writing and much insight indeed
and not strange at all
I think you will find many here
you can relate to

nice expressions,,,

A voice of honesty

more than voices
