A glint in the moonlight
an icy dance of blade and flesh
never pierced but held just so

in mock of life
in contemplation
in revelations

He knows better
than to leave this way
He knows better
than to stray from paths unbeaten

There is power
in thoughts of a crimson release
it lies in the will to turn away
and continue on through darkness

Where the glint is enough light
to see him through another day

Your poetry has a glint all it's own.
You know that don't you?

Rahp~ It's late and it's dark,
and you always write.....just so~

Thanks for this soothing read~

Raph:

as long as that glint is only a glint
and that flow stays where it should be

Insightful I must say
and amazingly strong
to pen such a decision
to travel onward

I applaud you

Such power...

Have you ever really seen will power at work?  I have.  It's mighty, I would even say magnificient.  Sometimes we let go before we are even truly tested of its strength...and character.

Raph...a good, strong write.  I'm proud of you for leaving it here for all of us to read.

Thank you.

A very powerful write, dear Raffaele, and I love the end lines especially, because there you express your true strength, even a sparkle is enough to hold on ...
