Taken back by your oddities and idiosecrecies
I have no hidden message for you to decipher
and I won't start asking around in order to figure you out
or make sense of the person you claim to be.

The virtual world is full of fantasy.

I have no idea what you are talking about
or the small favors you ask of me.
I am not concerned where you have been
but I am unsure of where you are coming from.

I will end up where I need to be, eventually.

I only wished to read you outside of a poem
in spite of my shoulder to lean
but it seems impossible when you only make sense to yourself
as if it were a private joke that's on me.

I dislike feeling paranoid.

How ever many times I have looked in the mirror
I don't change much or wear disguises
nor do I try to mask myself in camouflage
as if I knew how to be someone I'm not.

Admittedly

I am a variation of every shade of blue
remaining consistent with my color scheme
I am vulnerable and fragile,
on occasion my imagination gets away from me.

Seeing things that were never happening at all.

I don't have the time or energy
to sort through mixed messages.
English is the only language I have ever mastered
and I speak it fluently.

Please pardon me for saying so.

Rest assured I have no hostility toward you
except that I am frightened and afraid.

So shoot me.

I guess someone has to say it, so I guess it oughtta be me:

"Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get you!"

(I think that was a Fabulous Freak Brothers quote, but not sure...)

sigh. But y'know what I say? Keep your head down and keep typing!

Hugs, lady.

i think Karen may be right...i went to the mall the other day and was looking at the store directory and was shocked to see a big red X that said YOU ARE HERE. i'm telling you it really freaked me out! had no idea the were not only following me but they knew where i was going before i got there!   not trying to make light of the situation, just couldn't resist a little humor...hope your message resolves it.

Edder~ Thanks for always leaving me with your quick wit.  You make me laugh!!!  This is about someone whose words I can't make out whatsoever.  I am not sure if it's all in my mind or not (I haven't ruled out the possibility, stranger things have happened) or if he's just toying with me.

But I won't kill the messenger just yet...
naturally, I like her best.  (that would be me)  LOL~
Thanks again~

Lori, I so relate to this right now.
Don't you hate for people to try to say and do things secretively? Why can't they just come out and say what they mean?

Anyway, it really bothers me and does make me a little paranoid...and I don't like it either!!

A very good write, Bluesy. I enjoyed reading.

Ethel~  I know, how hard is it to say what you mean, and get to the point.  It's not that difficult to spell it out.  Thank you for reading my anxiety, and especially for being here with me.

Seems to me that you have more GOING FOR you than paranoia!

Being observant, owning your feelings and
being able to express them shows keen insight.

Methinks you need to go with the flow of your feelings and intuition. That certain  one, who speaks in riddles might just well deserve to be left behind! Mind games are being played upon you!

Terrific write! Message CLEAR!

Blessings!

tweets~ That makes me happy to know it works both ways.  Hug~

EagleOne~  No, what do they say about being paranoid?  I can't stand feeling like this.  It stands to reason I haven't heard a word since....and that makes it even worse.  I guess I need to keep my imagination from getting away with me.  Games, games, they are not worth a roll of the dice I say.  Thank you so so much!!!

JilGirl~ Those are wise words lady, more times than not my intuition is right on the mark and nearly impossible to ignore. I thank you sincerely for your wonderful reply.

Sandra!!!  So good to see you here, I am not hurt as much as I am left feeling a little jumpy...and that is the worst of it.  Thanks for reading.

Duncan~  Well duh!!!  I knew that much already!

Hope~ I never did learn how to read between the lines, and even when I tried I got it wrong every time.....the silent treatment compounds it all the more.  What a nice surprise to see you under my poems this morning.
Thank you very much.
