Hmmmm...

Where are those, I heard it said,
on tv show for those annoyed.
She speaks "when one walks out of life
another comes to fill the void."

I've never seen another man
who captured thoughts and held them true.
How can it be, that expert she
says there are very many, You

To take the place of one whose gone,
or one whose pleasure isn't yours.
She says that when one walks the open,
in come others through those doors.

Wondering I, just where you are
the many You she says exist.
In my dreams those doors are open,
windows too, unlocked but missed.

I have often wondered this myself.

M,
He's there I swear! It's about timing... So don't despair.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Contrary to the song, "It's Raining Men", I do not believe that that is true! Well, at least the kind of men that are the kind that I would date! lol  I agree with Larry, it is all a matter of timing! --Divine timing! Unfortunately for we earthlings, that's quantum time, not linear!

When you least expect it, you will know why no one else has claimed your heart since your last love!--Because someone so much better for you was to come into your life in divine order!

Loved the poem!

you still believe what you see on tv, Maureen? In that case, Pepsodent really gets the yellow out, soap bubble sing while sliding down SUzanne Sommer's back, we all had Ozzie and Harriet Nelson as parents, Timex really does take a licking and keep on ticking and Martha Stewart is really a nice person! The psychologists on tv are normally out of touch with reality, I find. and the ones who say money isn't important have lots of it. No, men don't grow on trees....we just live there

Sue,   thanks

Larry, timing...is the thing, "timing brought me to you"...wasn't that a song ..I am lousy with lyrics
   thanks

Earth Angel,Oh  If it was raining men, I would be surrounded and flooded with them at the moment...this was written

I  hear ya...but I don't believe much in that ever happening. SO I am  just going to get use to being alone.
Hugs

Toerag glad you liked...I do have a sense of humor sometimes  *s

Balladeer, I don't believe much I see or hear  anymore...and sometimes I don't believe in what I feel.

I did have Ozzie and Harriet as parents..

Timex..does take a licking...at least on me it was the only watch that would work...too much static in my body for other watches.
Haaahaaa, Michael you are funny, sometimes

BluesSerenade, thanks once in a while it is fun to write about nothing.
hugs, Lori

Thanks Dixie,  yes isn't "Deer" a trip???

~smiling~
