it is too early to get into this
everything will be forgotten
by the end of the day
but I want you to know
that my centerpoint
(not my counterpoint)
is still positioned in harmony
with yours
that the man himself
may be worth very little
but the things he feels for you
are as valuable as the diamonds
that fall
from the sky
that fall
from our eyes
in separate enclosure
for separate reasons
but which will bring us
closer to the truth
than we ever thought
we would come
