In the time of wind

before the door
she listened to air

it was music   it was lover
and the sky was drizzle and stars a cover

she lay on her back on cold ground
holding what she found

there were no words
only pictures and dreams

she walked across the sky with wind
who had no measure and found her light within

he listened to her ground
then heard his own sound

in her

your wind whispers are lovely sweet poetess.
love the surreal essence of this.
Me thinks a certain keeper of the fire would love this one.

No matter what the differences
No matter what the cost
When words become our weapons ...
All that's beautiful is lost.

Saying this is beautiful is inadequate... but I lack the expressions to do it justice... and it IS beautiful. *S*

This reminds me of the few times in my life when I have come to the realization that there is no place in the whole world I would rather be.  However fleeting the moment might have been, it was the best kind of feeling that one never forgets.  Martie...hugs or being you~

Every word Blues said, and this.... your spirit poems show a different plane of existence, and they show us poetry on a different plane....one filled with wonder, and a beauty that is uniquely yours. You don't just give us these, you bless us with them.

One thing I love in poetry is wind and breeze...  This poem contains that which
is a fave to me,  and the entire poem is
filled with the soft romantic verse that
is your forte'...  Well done Martie..

beautiful title and write Martie....

there were no words

she walked across the sky with wind
who had no measure and found her light within

Did you think
I didn't feel this?

or hear it?

Oh, I did....

and for a while, life got in the way
but I knew this was here,
so I could come back, and say

thank you.

Yes, Martie...this is close to what we were talking to.  You should take this one, the current one, and start nestling them into a book.  Because there will be more memories.
