Moved from a shack to a barn

0 posted 2003-06-18 12:29 PM

A stranger
approached me in the darkness
of sleep

I felt her fingers touch my temples
Her thumbs
pressed my eyelids closed

Soft full lips brushed mine
lightly

Parted
and became
hungry

When her hands
left my face to tangle in my hair
freeing me to look at her

I could not see

This reads like the state of mind in between a dream sleep and reality...and the fear that it might all disappear once you open your eyes.  Nice writing wranx, as always.

Beware!--A succubus can suck your soul! lol--
Just joking!

Hauntingly lovely...

sometimes those fragments
capture more than the whole,
and in the darkness
reflect the light
from a brilliant soul

open your eyes, Ed
its better that way
even if its scary

Ed:

life just is . . . you know?
yes . . . you do

you never know
what may be
on the other side
Life is choice
freewill
and if we never chose
we would never live

This reads to me
about choice
maybe I am warped
beautiful writing
