               today
               I have a friend
               one dear sweet trusted friend
               who replies to my life in verse
               like no one has before
               nor could I hope
               again

               I know
               they are just words
               no touch no sight no scent
               but nearly every day I’m found
               in or between the lines
               comfortable
               and sound

               So when
               a night has come
               and fear and doubt arise
               I know a morning dew of words
               will settle on the grass
               for me to read
               and prize

To be thought of in verse...a great gift.
Krawdad, people don't understand the power of words. Often others do not understand poets who take words seriously, thoughtfully. They say I am oversensitive to words, but I say I cherish the gift of communication...and use my words to hopefully inspire others to help them get through this journey called life. I am sorry I didn't mean to write a book here or anything. But I am so glad I read your verse. It makes me believe I am OK just the way I am.

Thank you so much for the gift you gave me with your verse.
