Sea Erns flutter overhead
just caressing the palm trees below
in the Florida summer dawn.
Crystal blue waters crest
and free-fall onto white sands.
Sand crabs scuttle across
on their way to nowhere.
My heart lays silently upon
a warm, tropic breeze
carried to a place of gentle love.
Like a newly, unfolded frond...
knowing this place is temporary,
a short pause in the always moving
journey of my life. I am, at once,
ready to stay put; yet eager
to return to what love and life
have mapped out for me, to return
to what is everyday, what is a miracle.

Hmmmm...great poem for the imagination cause here in all of MA, it's raining, dreary and cool!

I thank you for transporting me to a tropical scene this morning.

Ivy Rose,  this is as soft and delicate as
the tropical breeze itself.  Love the vision
it gave me..
