where the wild flowers grow

She's dressed in red, tonight.
She's got lipstick to match her shoes.
Her eyelashes
go on for
miles and ..well,
her legs they,
echo beyond what human ears can hear.
And she may seem flawless,
for just one moment..your eyes will focus,

on everything at once.

But she says,
it's what doesn't show that counts the most,
and no one could argue that.
She implies that if the laces are not tied, then,
falling would be perpetual.
If life's such an involuntary need to be
thrilled,
boredom would be more exciting.
Smoke captures light and we're still lingering on
like a complication.

She smells of clove cigarettes,
and old midnight whiskey written in her veins.
If dancing were considered movement,
walking would be just the same.
She says..
clearly, it's never the aspect,
but the memory.
We blame our confusion on the red we see,
but do not comprehend.

Whoa...very very cool imagery and detail in this clever, unique write.
Well done!!

No matter what the differences
No matter what the cost
When words become our weapons ...

A VERY interesting write with some fine descriptive imagery.

Clove cigarettes is a new one for me! If I smoked, I'd probably like them!

Warm hugs,

I like this, the difference between what we see and reality.

This is very very cool.  What we see often isn't what is real.

If life's such an involuntary need to be
thrilled,
boredom would be more exciting.

Very Very True.

I asked God how much he loved me...
He said this much...
And streched out his arms and Died.
