Vignette 7

It seemed to have
a name, for it was the

one that waited, just for her hand

to pluck, to place, to purview
a slender vase held it for all to see

as the bud became the bloom

but when the emotional rains came,
                      as they will

it held them all in full round shine,

           ignoring their salt,
for she had once stopped to smell
                                                                This rose

and since it bore a name,
it would not
leave her now.

I wish it would stop raining enough for me to see my flowers bloom...in the meantime I can enjoy yours and the others on here.

Connections, K,  evident here.  I read Vignette 6 and got booted in my response.
Hmmm, very interesting turn of words.

I shall explain further in a.m.

you will already know I am smiling at this...
lovely lovely lovely... is the vision of your vignettes

No matter what the differences
No matter what the cost
When words become our weapons ...
All that's beautiful is lost.
