Collage Of Here And There

Bits and pieces compiled
My verses here and there
Among the pages penned
Of happiness and despair

A scrapbook of emotions
Those feelings at that time
Scribbled for the purpose
Placing my heart to rhyme

Writing became a journey
Upon a poetic endeavour
Twists and turns are many
Of verses pieced together

Circulating amongst notes
Collage of here and there
In balancing high and low
My ramblings I am aware

With my mind over matter
Each verse was set apart
Creating the passageway
Of poetic path to my heart
