I can feel it...
It's almost time again.
I can feel the restlessness growing...
Somewhere, deep within.

I hate when this happens...
I feel like the earth is shaking.
My mind reels in circles...
The wall is slowly breaking.

I want to hold it up...
But I can't dont you see?
The wall is so much stronger...
And more determined than me.

"Will it away" they tell me...
Why don't they understand?
If I could I would...
But, it has the upper hand.

The wall is in a place that they will never see...
It's under all the agony, deep inside of me.

I ache each time I feel that old familiar sound...
That little child within, as she starts to move around.

I try to hush her crying...
"Go away" I say
But she's been quiet to long...
She wants to come out and play.

The wall will finally break...
And she will break herself free.
My restless wings will flutter...
As she comes through me.

She and I have been together enough for me to know...
That until she tires of running...
I have to let her go.

I can't keep her in...
Though she's a part of me.
She's that little girl...
That longs painfully to be free.

When it's all over,
She'll crawl back deep inside.
Until she gets anxious once more...
And refuses my request to hide.

Come on out little girl...
Excercise your right.
I'll let you run a while...
I'll just keep you in my sights.

If you cant get rid of the skeletons in your closet, you'd best teach them how to dance.  George Bernard Shaw
