Listening to every heart

0 posted 2003-06-16 11:03 PM

Vignette 6

quote:
Now the heart
   is so full
   that a drop
      overfills it.

James Russell Lowell

~*~

A crystal flute
         Drained of its hold
                   Amber liquor
                               Liquid gold

A glimmer gone gleam
         Now gleam raised in cry
                    For fulfillment received
                                Released by their sighs.

I must honestly say that I don't think I understood this poem... But I loved it anyway! Very original, thank you.

so very absolute!!

A voice of honesty

more than voices

Ah that we should all have hearts so full that one more drop would overfill them!  This was lovely, and a pleasure to feast my eyes on!!  ~V~

Wouldn't it be a beautiful world if each heart was filled with love until it overflowed and spilled over onto the universe. Lovely

I can identify with that flute Karilea, as I used to say to my "favorite" husband, "I am so stressed out by you that a feather could knock me over", close right?   Vignette 6 oh dear, must find 1-5 now.
