Deep within my heart
Rest the scars from sworded tongue
Healing with each pulse
Like battle weary soldiers -
Wishing to make love - not war

Chris...Annabelle is smiling...

this is deeply felt...
magnificently felt...

alike.

Well written Chris...feelings expressed powerfully and with resolve to heal and go forward...pained words but expressed with hope and spirit...and the picture accompanying the tanka was well chosen..

believe in what your heart feels...

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Chris, this sounds sad, dearest friend, I hope everything is OK as we love you so much and hate to see you hurt like this! (sigh) I wish we could all make love and not war with such feelings, dearest friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Chris, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Make love, not war... reminiscent of the
60's...  when so many wanted nothing more.
Not such a bad idea at times.

Well written Chris.  Thank You..
