Ignorance

Ignorance pleads ignorance
And I sit upon its fence
Watching splendor go to waste
I save myself the bitter taste

I hear the bells that toll for me
Although I’m still way out at sea
The thunderclouds have gathered gray
I sleep a little more each day

Like a turtle in a shell
I put my head into a well
Stop the noise by nap and sleep
It does the same as clean and sweep

The acid time eats my stay and
My fence slowly dissolves away
And I can naught but watch the dust
Heap upon my pan of trust

I sweep the dust into a pile
For that is the tower of my style

Sy,
More words of wisdom...

That's what I do, Sy.
It stops me from the negative thoughts.

Some days I wish I could make the world go away.  Kind of sad Sy, and always so good.

LOL Seymour, is that why you're so late? Nevermind, it's okay. You can sleep late if you want to.

Oh, it's almost time for my nap.....

Hugs sweet Sir

Dear Seymour, some great lines here as always. Bitter and ironical in a way, but as long as you dust and nap, you will be safe!
Love, Margherita

JM,
That Randy sure takes advantage of my good mature. He waits till I am asleep in my chair and then sneeks over to the computer and plays the poet. The funny thing is sometime he write some prety good stuff. LOL

(sigh) Yep, that is the way to go definitely, someone has to watch the belfry and tidy up the place so one can find some clarity and have trust in the ground they step on! (big hugggssssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is so well-said, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
