Lord Jesus,
I do not write
poetry for you,
but you are
in every word
that feels my heart.

A poet I have to be,
to explain myself,
for in Your teachings,
my heart has been broken,
only to be raised up
within the blessings
of the moisture of tears.

Storming winds breathing
within voices of verse,
crying into songs
feeling so much emotion,
thundering their message.

Word paintings
creating masterful thoughts
moving in mystic illusions,
delivering a inner message
of life’s special purpose.

In heaven’s light
of humanities creativity,
verses of prayers
spread the awakening
of the soul’s purpose
to teach others.

Life is about sharing beautiful feelings that may carry great pain and in the distress of these thoughts, things are then learned by others, who may avoid their own pain.
