Subtited
Raising Some H*** In Louisiana

Storming jazz,
beating rain,
blues skies
feeling pain.

Thundering drums,
trumpeting breezes,
steamy clarinet,
saxophone wailing,
swirling minds,
orchestrated harmony,
singing blue.

Crystal clear notes,
the heart’s tune,
rhythmic inner emotions,
moving the soul.

Fireplace warmth,
steamy love,
vibrating notes,
get down blues.

Sweet mama,
feel those hormones,
sweet vixen
set me on fire
in body gyrations.

Shake those walls,
rattles the bones,
raise the dead,
spirits are wailing,
the ghosts are dancing.

Sweat that music out
feeling so alive
move that body
for the band is
raising some h***,
in Louisiana.

Hey Dave--haven't forgotten you (this place just has grown so much!)

But I did want to thank you for this, you made me remember why I love this hellhole.

and yep, you got my foot tapping too, brought to mind a little ditty penned by the legendary Hank Williams--remember "Jambalaya"? :

"Thibodaux,to Fontaineaux, de place is buzzin',
kinfolk come to see Yvonne by da dozen.
Dress in style and go hog wild, me oh my oh.
Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on da bayou.

Jambalaya and a crawfish pie and a fillet gumbo
'cause tonight I'm gonna see my ma chaz amio.
Pick guitar, fill fruit jar and be gayo,
son of a gun, we'll have big fun on de bayou.

Settle down far from town, get me a pirogue
and I'll catch all de fish in the bayou.
Swap my mon to buy Yvonne what she need-o.
Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on da bayou."

Thanks for the morning smiles. And I'll tell my kids they can blame my blaring Hank Williams on YOU this morning!
