where the wild flowers grow

I spoke to a
paper fish today.
He was taken from an old oak tree,
on Poinsettia Avenue.
He said swimming is habitual,
not something you're born just knowing.
With that, he starting floating..away.

I've never had a conversation with a paper fish before

but my goldfish knows more about life than some of my neighbors
