Typically, she'd put her hand outside the car window when it's going as fast as it'll ever go. She feasts on the strength of the wind and blows away like a birthday candle. Her eyes climb, fixed upon the midnight sky. The clouds looked like holograms as they crumbled atop the moons vision. The sky never passes by at seventy five.. Questioning, Would it be wrong if she were to just forget? The song skipped a beat and she messed up the words. Protecter of a miserable fate, and still, her hands fly to conform to the wind around them. The sun is rising, another early morning. Lighting cigarettes she was smoking hours ago. Typically, she'd put her hand outside the car window.. But tonight, tonight there were no winds. |
