My eyes stare blindly to the wall
This light colour I found in the mall
Oh.. back then my soul was bright
The love I felt was pure delight

First love it was...it still is
A feeling to hold, a treasure, a bliss
Then you spoke, and gave me this choice
with trembling fear, deep in your voice

Jealousy ... it ruled your tide
and asked me to put my best friend aside
3 seconds I needed to chose for you
knowing my feelings.. my love is true

Those 3 seconds, one beat of my heart
was all you needed for a fresh start
But that one choice you asked me to make
might have been one huge mistake...

'Cause now I wonder, did I chose right?
by breaking idials, should I contrite?
How does one value ones love and ones friend
by losing either ... my heart wouldn't mend

I do not regret for loving you
right now is just a hard time to get through
But love will conquer, my heart knows for sure
even though it is... still immature

Yes, you can become determined to do better next time...and hope that you do...not always easy if you have to make quick choices...James

Well, Zenny, the big difference between lovers and friends is that a good friend will take you back, and a true love will not ask you to choose between them. But then, you already know that; and, I suspect, that's why it hurts you so much. Good luck in your choices, Zenny.

Maybe, if you show this to your Honey-Love, they will see that they've made a mistake.

If your "true love" realizes how much this decision is hurting you, I'm sure he'll change his mind. I hope so, for the sake of your relationship.

Man, I'm so lucky that my Honey-Love and I were best friends before we ever fell in love. By the way, he and I are still best friends after five years.

Good luck on this situation, Zenny. I can tell that it's hurting you very badly.
