into wet sands i sink myself
painting poetic thoughts
on the open sky,

my words offered
to the sea,

birds splash at the shore,
drink and eat from the source,

take to the sky
without any complexities,

soon the waves
erase thoughts and prints
of both birds and blondes,

the welcoming ocean
does not discriminate

I love the finish of your poem the most.  It may not always be true, however.  I know the ocean does not usually discriminate, but I've heard that Toerag got thrown out of the ocean because he was leaving a ring around Asia.  That might be a rumor, though.

This sounds almost depressing, the image of birds and sea and how you use it.  I like this, but I probably wouldn't even recognize the depression if I hadn't known a girl who was blondness also.  I colored her hair for her; but it was a box.

Michele - yes - your right

the water - the waves - the birds -
they dont have much to say to you
but ssshhhhh . . . . .

I love the water - just moved by it -
always need to be by the water when I feel bad

This is beautiful
as they all are

Inked...is all feisty.
Me like to lay it on...ahem
I mean I don't know much about blondes.
It was pretty smooth though.

Michele, I really like this. Especially this part....

soon the waves
erase thoughts and prints
of both birds and blondes,

the welcoming ocean
does not discriminate

Isn't the beach and the water just the greatest thing? So calming. I love the waves. I found an old poem about the beach I'm going to post sometimes. I guess you've noticed that I wreite a lot about the beach.

Hmmmmmm
I saw another picture here . . .
A menacing ocean . . . stealing it all.
(takes all kinds, don't it!)

Goddess -
waves may erase footprints
but they dont erase the memories
of a sunset stroll in paradise

I really enjoyed this
& as always I will be watching for more
