Last night I walked
in dark of woods
when midnight’s breeze
reached to the trees
and opened up leaves’ canopy
allowing me a star to see
star bright, star’s light
piercing heaven’s firmament
resplendent, nay transcendent
shone glory of the god’s extol.
It was as if trees with night’s breeze
had framed the night
revealed night’s soul
within the light
of star so bright.
Last night I walked
in dark of woods
last night I saw
a star
shine
bright.

This is just full of wonder and awe.

Thank you Tim, for reminding me of that "quiet joy".

Another treasure from your pen.

Tim!  Free Verse.
But rhyme in time
with each loved
line
and I, sublime
read all
in chime....

Thank you!

that was lovely...I haven't looked at stars in a long while and I almost almost forgot what it was like, but this poem reminded me again. :smiles: Have a wonderful day.

oh the stars of twilight, the twinkling glow of a million candles in the sky...perhaps God's reminder of the light which guides our hearts...lovely write.
