Sitting.
Alone in the glimmers of squandering light,
Gazing aimlessly into the fallen darkness.

Drifting.
Freeing the grasp of attention,
Embarking on the journey of a whim.

Reflecting.
Walking through the whispers of my thoughts,
Pondering the embrace of love and heart.

Dreaming.
Heeding sounds of mirth,
Searching for blowing wisps of adoration.

Longing.
Capturing a moment of presence,
Clutching to the reality of dreams.

Knowing.
Surrendering sweetly to a land of slumber,
Assured that you are mine.

Thank you all for your kind words and welcomes. It seems much an eternity that I have searched for a place to share thoughts, feelings and dreams through words simply to no avail... until now. This community of dreamers is something that you really wouldn't appreciate unless you have searched elsewhere. I look forward sharing words with you all and hearing your personal stories as well.

I have been absent for some time now *bows in shame* but wanted to let you all know that this poem won me the editor's choice award at poetry.com along with a cash prize. Thanks to all for your constructive criticisms!
