Walking in the adventure land
Little hands – feet – eyes go wandering
Looking and seeing
Finding and keeping
Feeling things and talking to his grownup friend
Grandpa why…
Grandpa how…
Grandpa when…
Grandpa can we…
Can we go there…
Hills ran up & up and bushes helped us hide
Stones hurtled into the pond
Walking stick and fishing pole
Found by eyes and quick hands
Time stands still
The old friend watches
The son of a son
Oh, Grandpa this is so much fun…
I want to stay here forever

An old heart beams…

Paul dear friend..this has to be your best by far.
Brought a huge lump to my throat..
Nothing quite like grandkids, eh?
So good to be reading you here again.

Awww...this is really sweet. I agree with my sister Enchantress....there's nothing like grandkids. When my grandson asks "Amma will you play hotwheels with me?"....I just melt no matter how tired I am and grab my favourite race car for a while of fun. Love this. Chris
