A rain crow cries freely
in archaic tongue

Run home
through highest grass and Queen’s Lace
rampant at the knee

Don’t fall
into the ever-glow beyond
big skies, big eyes, pollinated
with higher thoughts

Though you’ve always noticed
how red poppies grow,
how extraordinary eves of summer point
in fair direction
It’s taboo, to see through misery
It’s disenchanting
to most
who never want to feel naked in a storm
They never want to realize beauty lies, somewhere
between a clap of thunder
and clover;
sweet trampled luck, struck once
and never again

But only if you let judgement discern
your path
and forget what yellow
really feels like

Long for more, yet don’t quarry the fields
Don’t pick the animals
from the clouds
Be swift, quiet and gentle
as you carry a dreamer’s weightless step

Say nothing of the fertile secrets
you hold to your breast

Rush to water Spider’s Plant
inside, where the webs are safe
and happiness is a foreign language across glass

Hi Reg!  So good to see you.  Your poem took me weaving into a magic place that only you know how to create with words.  Exquisite!

R,
Ha!  There are favorable vibrations about!
Only yesterday I was thinking how much I missed Regina's work and was wondering what had happened to her.
And here you are!
And there is no doubt.
Wonderful!
So glad to see you again.

Reg,
It has become a part of my routine to miss you...but then you knew that. I'm so excited to see you back. You are staying, right?

Your writing always takes me places I have rarely been. But this part sounds like my year just past.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

I love the way you immerse yourself into the smell and feel of nature, the intimate observations of a true artist.
It's so good to have a poetic offering from you, Regina. You have been missed.

Sunshine: Your warmth is always welcoming. Big hugs sweet lady.

C: Thanks for the inspiration my friend.

nakedthoughts: I appreciate you for being here. May the clouds part and blooms spill over. Thanks for your kind words.

Helen: Big smiles and thanks

Marge: Your huglets are so great.

gemjop: I will really try...and thank you very much.

Nancy: Have missed your smiling words. Big hugs.

Seymour: I have missed your super sonnets.

Martie: Back at ya poetess. Hugs and admirations to you.

Krawdad: Good vibrations, indeed..or soul mojo..hehe. Your thoughts mean a lot to me.

Larry: Missing you too. Huge hugs and hope to stay as long as I can, but never far, regardless.

Dixie: You've been a constant inspiration. Thanks for your support and Southern grace.

Midnightsun: So good to hear from you too. It's great to be near you all. Many hugs.

Serenity: Have been around the world in my head~giggle. Thankfully, it didn't fall off. So glad to hear from you. Will explain below.

James: Soft hugs

C: These pages hold so much more than simple warmth, yet how could I expect anything less....you all are so embracing. I'll always be near the spirit of poets.

Note to Passions:

Hey everyone. Have been in a tizzy of new beginnings. My new year started out with a bang. I walked away from my job and grasped hold of my life.

It wasn't as easy as it sounds. The unknown is a scary place, but with tons of support, my spirit has wings again and my life is full with family and all that inspires me.

I also start college in the fall and really look forward to it....hope they like picking old bones.

Anyhow, I couldn't post or reply as I wanted to and felt I lacked connectivity you all exude here....so I stepped away for a bit, and will try to intermingle again with sincere offerings of poetry and friendship.

I may seem less involved...especially around exam time. But this place will always be where it all started. I've missed every poet and every word.

Peace and poetry,

Love, Reg

Hello Regina

You have been missed by so many, myself included, yet you still have the ability to touch our hearts with your fine words.

Regina this is my first read of your writings. It is my favorite of the many
catch up readings I've done tonight. Guess
I missed you to (though I did'nt know it).
